Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Fondly (a brand of REID UNDERFLOOR HEATING (SCOTLAND) LIMITED) and any order you place. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the store.

An order is a request to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email and take payment. Most items are personalised and made to order based on the details you provide and confirm at the preview stage.

We print personalised text exactly as you enter it. Please check spelling, dates and coordinates in the preview before confirming. Remakes needed because of an error in the details you submitted are not covered by our free-remake commitment (which covers our errors, damage and faults).

You confirm that any name, text, photo or other content you submit is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else's rights. You must not upload content that contains third-party trademarks, copyrighted images, cartoon characters or a person's likeness without permission, or that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing.

You grant us a limited licence to use your uploaded content only to create your order and preview. We may decline or cancel any order whose personalisation we reasonably believe infringes rights or breaks these terms. See our acceptable use policy for detail.

All fonts, illustration styles, layouts and artwork on this site are our own original designs. They do not imply any association with, authorisation by, or endorsement of any third-party brand, character or artwork. Illustrated portraits are original interpretations, not exact reproductions of a photograph.

Product images are illustrative. Because items are handmade from natural materials such as wood, paper and metal, small variations in colour, grain, texture and lettering layout are normal and are not defects. Decorative jewellery items (such as name necklaces) are fashion accessories, not identification items or precious-metal investments. Remembrance keepsakes are commemorative gifts and make no health, healing, therapeutic or religious claims. New-baby keepsakes are designed with no small choking-hazard parts and are keepsakes, not toys.

All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we don't store your full card number. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch and will contact you if that affects your order.

Fondly Circle and Atelier are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. Benefits apply while your membership is active. Memberships include no points, credits or stored value. You can cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the current period. See the refund policy for detail.

You must be at least 13 to use the store. Customers aged 13–17 must have a parent or guardian's consent to use the site and place an order, and a responsible adult must oversee payment.

Nothing in these terms limits your non-excludable statutory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of your order.
